Need information about IVF ?
Hello, I have just read a news about Aishwarya Rai that she visited at the IVF clinic. But I don't understand the exactly meaning of IVF. So, can anyone who know more about this medical word plz explain me that what is mean of this word exactly.

IVF means In-vitro fertilization. sperm of a man fertilize a ovum of a woman. This take place in falopian tube. There are some condition when this normal event does not happen although having a normal uterus. By the way there is two falopian tube attached on either side of uterus. In such condition In-vitro fertilization is method where ovum of the mother is fertilized with sperm of the father in a artificially created environment than the fertilized ovum is placed in mothers womb.
