It is not possible since SIM is just a small identification chip, actual device is your phone itself which can connect to mobile network. So in order to use internet directly of your telecom provider then you need some device. There are now laptops available which has inbuilt 3G connectivity feature so that you can connect internet directly from laptop (if available in your area).
Secondly, GSM and CDMA modems are available, use them instead. They can be plugged into USB slot of your computer and done.
