    Advert.
    Hi All

I had lost a mobile while traveling in bus some one has filcked it frm my bag, it had a mobile insurance but insurance company people need a FIR should be registered as a "theft" and police people are telling as they can't take complaint as "Theft" instead they Changed it to "Missing"and they cant register a FIR for mobile lost......

Neither am getting my mobile back nor the insurance....

    What should I do next....???

    HI Ashata,

This is mostly case with Indian police, they will not register FIR because it will disturb their good track record and if they register FIR they have to do formalities and file report for it.

You should better try to contact PRO for SP in your area, I think simplest way is send written complaint to them through registered post. Senior officers are now available through FB etc.. just try to find out.

They always do that, I had also lost my phone but it was actually stolen from a desk in office premises and I very well know it was stolen but they never registered FIR.
