Bollywood3 is bringing you the movie review of SALMAN KHAN, DAISY SHA, TABU and GENELIA starrer Jai Ho. Let's see how it is :

Itís been a year since we saw Salman Khan on the big screen. The heartthrob of millions is back with his latest flick in Jai Ho. Directed by his brother Sohail Khan, Jai Ho has newcomer Daisy Shah and Tabu in important roles. After a string of huge promotions, the film has hit the screens today. Lets see how it is.
Story:-
Jai Agnihotri(Salman Khan) is an ex army officer who lives with his family in Mumbai. He is an honest person who always lends a helping hand to others and does not withstand injustice. One fine day, an ugly incident involving his sister Geeta (Tabu) causes a huge crisis in Jaiís life. He has to now deal with the evil forces of minister Sharma (Danny Dnezongpa) and his power. Rest of the story is as to how Jai sticks to his principles and ideologies and manages to win against the evil powers of the society. Plus Points:- Once again, Jai Ho is an out and out Salman Khan film. Right from the first frame, it is Salman Khanís show all the way. He chooses a noble subject and presents himself in a very unique way. Salman is impressive as the common man and strikes a chord with the audience. He does everything that is expected of him and delivers a knockout punch. Tabu makes a comeback with a powerful role. She suits her role perfectly and complements Salman in every scene. Though newcomer Daisy Shah does not have much to do in the film, she impresses with her captivating screen space. Her chemistry with Salman is endearing and her dances are also good. The whole setup and the way the film delivers a strong message is quite out standing. It is very nice to see a big star like Salman Khan come out of his comfort zone and indulge in a message oriented film like this. Industry rejects like Ashmit Patel, Sana Khan and many other actors are given meaty roles in this film. While the first half has songs, dance and some comedy, the second half is filled with high voltage action and of course Salmanís six pack abs. Minus Points:- Major drawback of Salmanís past few films were that all of them were highly predictable. Same is the case with Jai Ho as the film gets highly predictable after the first half an hour. Songs in Salman Khan films has always been huge hits, but that is not the case in Jai Ho. Music is a big let down and does not manage to register. Second half of the film is high on action and drama. Those who seek typical Salman like entertainment might be a bit disappointed with this film. Technical Aspects:- As usual, action sequences are top notch and Salman does splendidly well in that department. As said earlier, music is a big let down. Dialogues that have been specially designed for Salman are top notch and will be loved by the masses. Camera work is decent and the whole common man set up looks real. The songs, dances and all the heavy duty emotional scenes have been designed well to suit the films nativity. Sohail Khanís direction is decent and does not experiment much. He sticks to the original plot and successfully manages to deliver a strong message but in a very entertaining and true Salman Khan style. Verdict:- On the whole, Jai Ho is an out and out Salman Khan film right till the end. Do not go into this film expecting entertainment like Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger or Bodyguard. This film delivers a strong message for the audience, but in true Salman Khan style. Go watch it. Visit Bollywood3 for more movie reviews, news, gossips, images and videos
