How to cancel my Passport Application submitted with all required documents

Dear All,

Kindly suggest me the solution for my query, i applied for fresh passport in May 2015, but when i went to PSK with my all docs they said to me that i had already applied from other place in 2011, they showed me details of that case where in my name is same, my parents name is bit different but MY PHOTOGRAPH is almost same. my both police verification are police verification are in my favor , but still my passport is with held. so kindly help me in this regard.
