I feel Kapil Dev was the Best caption in his time who made Indian team to win the World cup and Not even he was the Best but caption who guided his team But also a player who played marvelous in his time.

Saurav was also good caption but the as a batsman he loosed his strength and fame.

Mahender singh Dhoni who is current caption of Young Indian team breaks the record of saurav and Rahul and he is also a good Batsman... His presence of Mind and his Batting and keeping also helped team to win the race and as you see India become no- 1 in ICC test ranking .. Hope fully he will break Kapil's record too...
