Tum Milo To Sahi: Hindi Movie Review
With actors like Nana Patekar and Dimple kapadia in the film directed by Kabir Sadanand, one can just watch the movie just to see them perform their characters.
The movie starts with the introduction of Dimple Kapadia as a Parsi lady running a coffee home and Nana Patekar as a 50 plus person desiring an extension in his job. His boss refuses and therefore Nana has to lead a retirement life and gets eccentric due to it. His supermarket scene and the scene with the eunuch are beautifully put in and performed by Nana showing him deal with situations in hand. Along with it there are other two stories going on hand in hand , one with Suneil Shetty and Vidya Maldave, and another one of Rehan Kahan and Anjana Sukhani. Thought all have put in great performances, the love story of Anjana and Rehan just fails to impress and bores you up. Vidya and Suneil are good and deal with a very important & relevant question that, Is money and status symbol in the society more important than human relationships and family? The music is strictly ok and there’s an Item number of Tanisha (Kajol’s sister) in a very sexy avatar.
Well even though the acting’s by Nana and the court sceans by Dimple are great, or the conversation between her grandson and Nana , the movie does not have it itself to get the audience to the cinema hall and make it a huge success. It can definitely be watched for Veteran actors like Nana and Dimple or the well played characters played by the rest of the cast, but it somehow fails to impress. The editing of the movie could have been more tighter and the music was ok.
