Apple is no doubt one of the most profitable company in the world and there was never a cheap iPhone. However, with iPhone SE series apple tried to provide budget friendly iphone and this time with iPhone 3rd generation, Apple is giving powerful hardware which is as comparable to their flagship iPhone 13 series. With price tag of INR 44000, it is not cheap by any mean but comparing with other iPhone, its cheapest.

However, if you look at design , it is clearly in the body of iPhone 8 being utilized by Apple in SE series. The phone has 4GB of RAM which is adequate for modern day given Apple iOS is quite efficient and doesn't need lots of memory. The last generation of Apple iPhone SE had 3GB of RAM, hence new gen comes with 1GB of bump in RAM.

Unlike flagship iphones with multi-camera setup, this one has just a single camera, the camera is almost similar to last gen iPhone SE yet it comes with all bells and whistle like Smart HDR 4, for low light, the Deep Fusion which capture even subtle details and patterns of your subject. On video front, it comes with 4K recording upto 60 fps which is nice consider this is cheapest iPhone. The front has 7MP camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture and supports Portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control.

iPhone SE 3rd gen comes with time tested iphone 4.7 inch display but has thick bezel like iPhone 8. It has 18W fast charger and claims to give 50% charge in 30 minutes.

Essentially it may be a good for for first time buyer those to want enjoy Apple yet not at very high premium , still not cheap though .

Apple knows that there is big market for second hand iPhones and there is this iPhone SE to attract those customers. If someone is buying second hand iPhone 8, it will come with years old hardware , why not spend little more and get brand new iPhone SE 3 with design of iPhone 8 and latest hardware, its a good bargain for those second hand buyers. But yes, given that they are willing to spend little extra over second hand iphone. If they can make it little more cheaper then I am sure they will eat away the second hand iPhone market.

As per my view, the phone wouldn't be able to attract a large number of people as the feature we're talking about here can be easily available in any other smartphone of flagship companies like Oneplus, Realme or MI, etc. But if we talk about iPhone lovers then they would definitely go for this phone as the price is almost half of any other iPhone.
