Reliance Jio has launched JioMotive, an innovative device that can transform any car into a 'smart car'.

This compact on-board diagnostics (OBD) device can be easily connected to a car's OBD port beneath the dashboard. By utilizing an eSIM, it seamlessly connects the vehicle to the Jio network. JioMotive is priced at Rs 4,999 and can be purchased from Reliance Digital, JioMart, and Amazon.

This remarkable device offers a wide range of features including real-time location tracking, vehicle health monitoring, analysis of driving behavior, anti-tow and theft alerts, accident detection, Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, and much more.

JioMotive is compatible to work with Jio SIM card only. However, existing Jio users will not need an extra Jio SIM as they can extend the Jio smartphone plan to JioMotive.

"Setting up Your JioMotive Device on Your Vehicle"

1 Download and install the JioThings app from the App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone.
2 Log in to the app using your Jio number.
3 Add the JioMotive device to your list of existing devices by clicking the '+' sign.
4 Input the IMEI number located on the JioMotive and select 'Proceed' to continue.
5 Provide the required car details in the following step, including the vehicle number, registration date, model type, and more.
6 Attach the JioMotive to your car's OBD port and start your car. Make sure you are within a reliable Jio network coverage area.
7 Accept the Terms and Conditions of the JioEverywhereConnect Number Sharing Plan and click 'Enable.'
8 Select 'JioJCR1440' and proceed to the next step.

A confirmation message will be displayed on the screen once the device is successfully connected.
